I am married to Jon Hampton,
who currently holds an Orange Belt in Combat Hapkido.
We have 2 children. Conner
is 6˝ years old and is very proud of his current Purple Stripe belt in
the Grasshoppers program. Camryn
is almost 3 years old and it won’t be long before she will be joining
the Martial Arts Carolina family as a Grasshopper.
The Grasshoppers will never be the same once Camryn and her good
buddy, Riley Hutchinson hit the program!

After sitting on the sidelines for almost a year, as a Martial Arts
parent, I made my mind up to go for something I wanted to do …. become a
black belt. Currently, I am
half way there! Taekwondo has given me physical and emotional strength,
increased self-confidence, and above all, has led me to a wonderful family
of friends!
My favorite quote is one
that my best friend painted above my daughter’s bed:
“Always
kiss your children goodnight, even if they’re already asleep”
