I’m married to Jody Burdette together we have three daughters, two
sons and eight wonderful grandkids.
I had wanted to take a martial art since I was twelve. I didn’t
get the chance when I was a kid and then college, work and raising a
family became more important and consumed all of my time. For a Christmas
present in 2001 Jody gave me a membership to take Tae Kwon Do, and as they
say the rest is history. I love the art and the instructors that have
brought out of me something that had been dormant for close to 40 years.
First degree is now only a beginning.
